Note : It seems that
the populations of Sarawak and Kalimantan could be a different subspecies,
Mizunuma & Nagai put them as canaliculatus ssp. canaliculatus, as
they do not have the circular tooth ad mid-mandible, but at other hand, the
mandibles are shorter and more falcate than in true canaliculatus from
Sumatra. In a Japanese web site I found the name ramlii as described by
WAKATAKE, I still do not have the puiblication, but this could be the
subspecies for Kalimantan and Sarawak.
